Taylor Winkelmann (Kerl) is a seasoned professional in the aerospace sector with a diverse background in engineering and program management. Currently serving as Deputy Program Manager and Systems Engineer at Maxar Technologies since January 2018, Taylor has leveraged leadership skills and technical expertise to enhance spacecraft and satellite design. Previously, as a Controls Systems and Propulsion Engineer at SSL (Space Systems Loral) from February 2017 to September 2020, Taylor contributed to the complete lifecycle of spacecraft from proposal to launch and orbit. Taylor began the career journey with a Summer Engineering Internship at Spirit AeroSystems in 2015, following the successful attainment of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2017.
