Ty Lee is a skilled aerospace engineer with extensive experience in propulsion systems and spacecraft design. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Engineer for the Power and Propulsion Element (PPE) at Maxar Technologies since September 2017, Ty Lee has successfully led proposal efforts for NASA study contracts and guided the development of high power solar electric propulsion spacecraft. Prior experience includes a Systems Engineer role at Space Systems Loral, where Ty Lee coordinated propulsion development engineering teams and led the design of advanced thruster technologies. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of California at Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of California at San Diego.
