Maxicoffee’s long story started with its founder and president, Christophe, who had always witnessed from childhood how coffee was able to bring people together.

In 1993, Christophe, who started as an apprentice in a local coffee company in Provence, grew more and more keen on learning about the coffee world and its sustainable fair trade coffee production.

From there, he took over the small company and became Maxicoffee located in the South West of France. Maxicoffee was the result of visits and meetings in producing countries, of moments of sharing and discussing the coffee world and thinking about a better way to produce, develop and distribute coffee.
