Dr. Mark A. Pearson serves as a Faculty and Managing Director at the University of Southern California since August 2013, following previous roles as Assistant Director from 2002 to 2007. In parallel, Mark has been with MAXIMUS since September 2007, undertaking roles as Regional Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Consultant, focusing on government services in various sectors, including education and health. Additionally, Mark has contributed to youth sports as Head Coach for the SoCal Blues since August 2022 and previously for FC Golden State from November 2017 to October 2022. Mark co-founded the University Metropolitan Day School in January 2004, aiming to promote student preparation for college and societal advancements. Academically, Mark holds a Doctor of Education from USC Rossier School of Education, a Master of Public Administration from the School of Policy Planning & Development at USC, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the School of International Relations at USC.
