Mark Abel

Mark Abel serves as the Vice President of Capture for Large Programs at Maximus since March 2023, leading capture efforts for intricate federal programs. Abel is also the Founder and CEO of Castlemar Consulting, established in 2011, providing strategic planning and business development services to federal contractors. Prior roles include Vice President at Wyle, where leadership was provided for IT division business development, and Vice President positions at ManTech and Computer Science Corporation, focusing on technology solutions and federal clients. Earlier experience includes territory management at CompuCom and business development direction at Northrop Grumman. Abel holds a high school diploma from Sherwood High School and has furthered education at Towson University.
