VP Consulting and Policy Analysis

Nancy Shanley is the Vice President of Consulting and Policy Analysis at Maximus, where they lead the clinical services team and consult on operational and policy issues for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and various states. With over 30 years of experience in long-term services and supports (LTSS), Nancy is a national expert in preadmission screening and resident review (PASRR) standards, regulations, and operations. They contributed to the development of CMS standards within the Minimum Data Set 3.0 Resident Assessment Instrument Manual and have a history of co-training national audiences on specialized services and person-centered evaluation. Nancy continues to provide consulting support in Medicaid LTSS screening and eligibility, focusing on federal regulatory requirements and emerging state initiatives. They are pursuing a Master's of Science in Clinical and Developmental Psychology at Vanderbilt University.
