Jay Hollowell has been in the education and training industry since 1990. Jay began their career as the Director of Career Services, Program Area Coordinator, Corporate Trainer, Curriculum Developer, and Instructor at Bryant & Stratton College. In 1999, they moved to ECPI University to become a part-time business instructor, where they also participated as a speaker in faculty development and career services events. In 2000, Jay became an Independent Consultant, designing, marketing, and facilitating corporate training programs. In 2006, they joined MaxKnowledge, Inc. as the Vice President of Training and Partnership Officer for CareerPrepped. In this role, Jay developed B2B partnership opportunities for CareerPrepped and obtained, supported, and upsold clients for the company's Center for Excellence in Education's online faculty development and management subscription programs. Jay has also authored CEU-based continuing education courses for the career-focused, post-secondary sector of higher education and presented keynotes and workshops for companies, schools, educational associations, and accrediting bodies across the country.

Jay Hollowell has a formal education from William & Mary. Jay also has several certifications, including a Recognized Master Trainer from Education For Employment - Global (EFE-Global) in 2006, Level 1 - Mediation from The Mediation Center of Hampton Roads in 2005, a Certificate of Completion from Professional Selling Skills in 1999, a Training Certification from DDI | Development Dimensions International in 1998, and a Training Certification from AchieveGlobal in 1997.
