Nikita Chernikov is an Embedded Firmware Engineer at MaxLinear since October 2022, with extensive experience in avionics communication and FPGA development gained during a seven-year tenure with the Israeli Air Force. As an Avionics Communication ATE and FPGA Developer, Nikita designed and developed test environments and simulations for avionic communication busses, utilizing MIL-STD-1553, VHDL, C++, C#, and ATEasy/CVI. Prior to this role, Nikita worked as an RF & Radar Technician, focusing on the maintenance and testing improvements of airborne radar systems encompassing RF, digital, and analog technologies. Nikita holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Holon Institute of Technology and a Practical Engineer degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Technological College of the Israeli Air Force.
