Shila Shams possesses extensive experience in the field of engineering, currently serving as a Senior Staff Lead and previously holding positions as Senior Staff Engineer and Staff Engineer at MaxLinear since July 2019. Prior to this, Shila worked at SpaceX as an Associate RF/RFIC Engineer from January 2018 to March 2019 and completed an RFIC internship at SpaceX in 2016. Academic contributions include serving as a Teacher Assistant for the undergraduate course "RF Communication Circuits" at the University of Alberta, where Shila pursued a Ph.D. in Integrated Circuit Design from 2013 to 2019, also contributing research on a thesis focused on a 60 GHz CMOS phase shifter in Phased Array systems.
