Michael Vellano is a highly accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and entrepreneurship. As the CEO and Founder of Vortex Companies since January 2017, Vellano has been instrumental in providing trenchless infrastructure rehabilitation solutions. In addition, Vellano serves as CEO of United Felts and MaxLiner, LLC, both starting in December 2023, while also holding positions as Chairman of the Board at MindMatch and as a member of the Board of Directors at UrbanUmbrella since June 2019. Vellano founded Vellano Investments in January 2019 and previously held the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Inland Pipe Rehabilitation from June 2009 to January 2015, along with serving as Regional VP at The Vellano Companies from January 1997 to January 2009. Educationally, Vellano completed studies at the University of Mississippi from 1997 to 2002 after graduating with a high school diploma from Christian Brothers Academy in 1997.
