Eric Schlechtweg LC

Eric Schlechtweg LC has over 28 years of work experience in sales and management roles in the lighting industry. Eric is currently serving as the Director of C&I Sales, East Central Region at MaxLite since May 2021. Prior to this, Eric worked at Universal Lighting Technologies, Inc. (Panasonic) for 5 years from 2016 to 2021. In this company, they held the position of Director Distribution East, where they were responsible for managing and growing sales and margin for 4 Regional Sales Managers and 22 manufacturer representative agents in the Eastern U.S. Eric also served as a Sr. Regional Sales Manager during their tenure there.

Before joining Universal Lighting Technologies, Eric worked at Philips Lighting for 16 years from 2000 to 2016 as a District Sales Representative. Their responsibilities included selling the Philips lighting portfolio, managing key distributor partners' stock and flow inventory, and overseeing end user design/build projects.

Prior to Philips Lighting, Eric worked at Cooper Industries-Crouse Hinds-ArrowHart Wiring Devices as a Sales Representative, where they achieved a 9% increase in sales during their first year. Eric prepared and implemented annual marketing plans, maintained relationships with electrical distributors, contractors, MROs, and OEMs, and achieved sales goals within budget.

Eric's career in the lighting industry began at Graybar, where they worked as a Sales Representative for 6 years from 1993 to 1999. Their responsibilities included increasing gross margin and sales from various customer segments, such as electrical contractors, telecommunication contractors, commercial, and industrial accounts. Eric consistently met or exceeded budget targets during their tenure.

Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated strong sales and management skills, consistently achieving sales goals and driving business growth.

Eric Schlechtweg LC attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Lighting from the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions.
