Tyrone King

Tyrone King has a diverse work experience in the field of project management and compliance. Tyrone worked as a Project Safety Development and Compliance Manager at MaxLite starting from 2014. In this role, they improved guidelines for implementing lighting certification requirements to UL standards. Tyrone also developed and managed a UL Client Test Data Program laboratory. Additionally, Tyrone developed preliminary plans of investigation for projects, analyzed data and product construction, and communicated with project managers to review sample and technical requirements. Prior to this, Tyrone worked as a Project Engineer at Underwriters Laboratories from 2005 to 2014. In this role, they developed preliminary plans of investigation, determined project specifications, and communicated with clients regarding technical requirements and project cost. Tyrone also addressed and resolved client questions and concerns.

Tyrone King attended the United States Air Force from 1979 to 1983, where they studied Electronic Technology and Electronics and Technology. Tyrone did not obtain a degree during this time. Additionally, in February 2005, Tyrone obtained a certification in UL Standards from UL.
