James Schulte has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. James started their career in 2010 as the owner and lead developer at AppsLikeThat, where they provided consulting and development services for iPhone applications. James demonstrated strong project management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
In 2012, James joined the University of Adelaide as a tutor and supervisor, where they played a vital role in teaching technical concepts to non-technical or beginning technical audiences. James also supervised workshops and practical lessons, as well as marked examinations.
In 2016, James participated in the Startup Catalyst Scholarship program in Silicon Valley. This experience exposed him to the possibilities of technology and entrepreneurship while building connections in Silicon Valley and across Australia.
James joined Techstars in 2017 as an engineering associate on a contract basis. James developed new intellectual property related to fractal-based reactors and integrated cold-gas-thruster technology utilizing laser-sintered metal fabrication techniques. James authored and submitted two provisional patents during their time there.
In 2018, James joined Aurecon as a mechanical engineer and excelled at working with clients, end users, and stakeholders. James also gained experience in online collaboration and remote working. While at Aurecon, they worked on major projects such as the James Nash House hospital, Adelaide Oval grandstand, and the refurbishment of the Adelaide Festival Center.
Most recently, James joined MaxMine in 2018 as an analytics engineer. James subsequently took on roles as a senior analytics engineer and senior software engineer, leading teams and contributing to the platform services. James'sresponsibilities include data processing and leading the development of analytical solutions.
James Schulte completed their education history with a Bachelor of Mathematical & Computer Science degree, with a double major in Statistics & Applied Mathematics, from the University of Adelaide in 2012-2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Aerospace & Mechanical from the same university in 2009-2012.
