Mario Mauerer is currently serving as the Global Business Development Manager for Robotics at maxon since January 2024, focusing on scaling and enhancing performance for top-tier robotics companies through advanced drive and system solutions. Previously, Mario worked at ANYbotics from January 2020 to September 2023, initially as Robotics Systems Engineer and later as CTO Hardware, managing strategy, portfolio, and the development of robotic systems. Mario began a career in research at ETH Zürich, contributing to the Power Electronic Systems Laboratory from June 2014 to May 2018, specializing in low-noise, high-linearity switch-mode power converters. Mario holds a Master's degree and a Doctor of Sciences in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Power Electronics and Energy Systems, both acquired from ETH Zürich between 2012 and 2018.
