Sam Donaldson

Sam Donaldson is a dedicated Space Development and Testing Engineer at maxon, beginning their role in 2025. They have previously held multiple leadership positions in various projects, including as Co-Team-Lead and Team-Lead for the SAGE and ODYSSEY projects, where they worked on rigorous simulations and structural designs to meet ESA and SpaceX standards. Sam has also completed internships at Lonza and Stahltec GmbH Wallis, gaining valuable engineering experience. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Electron Beam Applications from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and are pursuing Systems Engineering at ZHAW School of Engineering, building on their previous education in mechanical engineering at ETH Zürich and biological sciences at Kollegium Spiritus Sanctus Brig.
