Tom Mayer

Tom Mayer has extensive experience in the medical technology field, having worked in various roles including Sales Representative, Regional Manager, and Account Manager at Boston Scientific from 2008 to 2012, where they specialized in Cardiac Rhythm Management. Subsequently, they served as Sales & Application Manager and Business Development Manager at Sonceboz from 2016 to 2019, focusing on global business development in medical and pharmaceutical technology. Tom also gained experience as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Michigan in 2005 and began their current role as Head of Business Unit Medical at maxon in 2025. Tom holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from FOM Hochschule für Oekonomie & Management and a Dipl. Ing. in Medical Engineering from Hochschule Furtwangen.
