Moritz Köberle has work experience in various environmental and engineering roles. Moritz is currently working as a Project Engineer for Photovoltaic Systems at MaxSolar GmbH since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Intern at Witteveen+Bos from April 2021 to February 2022, where they focused on multi-criteria analysis for the development and adaptation of green hydrogen. Moritz also had an internship at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in 2017.
Moritz has previous experience as an Environmental Assistant at Kommunale Aktionsgemeinschaft zur Bekämpfung der Schnakenplage e. V., where they collected and evaluated field data and performed applied biological mosquito control from June 2012 to September 2019. Moritz also had a student internship at the same organization where they worked on an applied remote sensing project using ArcGIS.
Additionally, Moritz worked as an Environmental Analyst at WESSLING from October 2017 to November 2018, where they conducted chemical analysis of water, soil, and construction samples. Moritz also worked as an Environmental Scientist at Red Sea Environmental Centre in 2012, where they participated in a project to investigate and report on the state of coral reefs and algae population in the Red Sea.
Moritz Köberle completed their education at the University of Groningen from 2019 to 2022, where they earned a Master of Science in Energy and Environmental Science. Prior to that, they attended The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management. In addition to their academic degrees, Moritz obtained a certification in "Digitisation of construction and real estate projects" from PlanRadar in May 2023.
