Martijn Houben

Martijn Houben has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Martijn is currently working at Maxxton as the Chief Operating Officer since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Business Consultant at Maxxton from January 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining Maxxton, Martijn was associated with Ondernemers Vereniging Borsele (OVB) as a Bestuurslid (secretaris) from January 2019 to September 2022.

Previously, they worked at Rabobank Oosterschelde, where they held the role of accountmanager Grootzakelijk from October 2012 to December 2019. Martijn also served as an (Intern) Accountmanager Grootbedrijf, scheepvaart from November 2010 to October 2012 at the same company.

Martijn also has experience with Qredits Microkrediet in Nederland, where they worked in coaching from August 2010 to January 2013.

Martijn has worked at Triodos Bank in various roles, including Triodos Bank N.V. Bijzonder Beheer Zakelijk (Zeist) from August 2010 to November 2010, Accountmanager MKB (Zeist) from September 2009 to August 2010, and Accountmanager Biologische landbouw & Natuurontwikkeling / Accountmanager Kunst & Cultuur (Zeist) from February 2009 to September 2009.

Martijn has also been associated with Welten, where they worked as a coach from August 2010 to November 2010, and at Welten Business Banking B.V. from April 2006 to November 2010.

Martijn Houben has a diverse education history. Starting in 2001, they obtained an MBO degree in Euromanagement from Business School Notenboom | University of Applied Sciences. From 2003 to 2005, they pursued a HBO bachelor's degree in Commerciële Economie from Business School Notenboom | University of Applied Sciences. In 2007 and 2008, they furthered their education at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) with a Post HBO degree in Business Finance. Most recently, from 2017 to 2019, Martijn attended TIAS School for Business and Society, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Executive Master of Management and Organization. Alongside their formal education, Martijn has obtained several additional certifications including Quaestus Executive Leadership, Language Institute Regina Coeli English, LSSP LeanSixSigmaPartners praktijk, and LSSP LeanSixSigmaPartners theorie.
