Rob Sonke

CTO at Maxxton

Rob Sonke has a strong background as a CTO and Java Developer. Rob started their career at EasyFlex in 2003 as a Prolog Developer, where they worked for 5 months during their study. Their main responsibility was developing a Jabber server in the Prolog programming language.

In 2005, Rob joined Maxxton Group as a Java Developer intern, and later became a full-time Java Developer. In this role, they oversaw all technology services and software architecture at Maxxton. Rob was also responsible for planning and guiding people in both the Netherlands and India. Additionally, Rob managed the development team and was involved in the future development of Maxxton's products.

In 2011, Rob was promoted to the position of CTO at Maxxton Group. Rob continued combining Java development with their role in planning and guiding people. Rob was also responsible for the future development of the company's products.

Overall, Rob Sonke has extensive experience in Java development, technology services, software architecture, and product development.

Rob Sonke obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Avans University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Goese Lyceum from 1994 to 2001, where they completed VWO, focusing on Beta subjects. In terms of additional certifications, Rob completed courses such as the "Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation" and "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" from Coursera in April 2020. Rob also obtained the SCJP certification from Sun Microsystems in May 2010.
