Eddie Andert

Eddie Andert is a Perception Software Engineer with expertise in runtime performance and optimization for CPU, GPU, and other accelerators. With over ten years of experience in deploying and maintaining production autonomous vehicles, Eddie specializes in the integration of machine learning models and perception algorithms for autonomous driving. Their PhD research at Arizona State University focused on cooperative sensing and planning in connected autonomous vehicles. Currently, Eddie works as a Senior Autonomy Engineer II at May Mobility, responsible for optimizing real-time perception algorithms on vehicle hardware.
