Mark Kozak

Mark Kozak has an extensive work experience in the healthcare, sustainability, and energy industries. Mark began their career in 2001 as the Director of Snow Safety/Asst Lead Guide for H2O Guides. In 2004, they were hired as an Energy Conservation & Healthcare Decision-Support Consultant for Mountain Consultants, LLC. During their time there, they provided research and development support for Colorado Energy Group between 2009 and 2013, as well as strategic and R&D support for Physician Cognition, Inc. from 2014 to 2018. In 2007, they became the Business Development for Decision-Support Technology at TEKNOVARE. In 2015, they were appointed as the Executive Director of the Telluride Science Research Center (TSRC), a think-tank for molecular science. In 2018, they co-founded MayaMD.Ai and became the Interim COO.

Mark Kozak received their High School Diploma from Mount Desert Island High School in 1989. Mark then attended the University of Notre Dame, where they obtained their BS in Environmental Science in 1993. In 1998, they completed their MS in Watershed Science from Colorado State University. Additionally, they hold a certification from the National Ski Patrol in Outdoor Emergency Care.
