Martin Cunningham has extensive experience in health, safety, and wellbeing (HS&W) management within the construction industry, currently serving as Head of SHEQ at Maylim since September 2024. Previously, Martin worked at Sir Robert McAlpine, where roles included Head of Health Safety & Wellbeing - Group Services and Health Safety & Wellbeing Lead - Group Services, focusing on developing and implementing HS&W strategies. Martin has also held significant positions at PJ Hegarty & Sons as Senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager and at Carey Group plc in various HSE roles, including Regional HSE Advisor and Compliance Training Manager. Earlier experience includes a secondment at Skanska and foundational roles at Carey Group plc, starting as a Trainee HSEQT Advisor and Assistant Setting Out Engineer. Educational qualifications include a National Diploma in Public Services from Hertford Regional College and a NEBOSH National General Certificate from International Workplace.
