Mark Powell

Mark Powell is a Chartered Building Surveyor with extensive experience in building defects, condition assessments, and expert witness services. They began their career in the UK construction industry in 1989 and have since held senior positions, including Senior Chartered Building Surveyor at Alexander & Co and currently as Director at Maynard Marks, where they assist various property stakeholders with their building-related concerns. Mark has contributed to industry knowledge through technical presentations and publications, including a chapter in "The Leaky Buildings Crisis – Understanding the Issues." They hold a Diploma in Surveying from the University College of Estate Management and are pursuing governance best practices through the Institute of Directors in New Zealand.
