John Neiman

John Neiman is the Shareholder and Chair of the Appellate Practice Group at Maynard Nexsen. Neiman has served as the Solicitor General of Alabama and was a partner at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLC. They have extensive experience in academia, having held positions as a law professor at the University of Alabama and the University of Georgia, and have contributed to legal scholarship through teaching Supreme Court Seminars and other courses. Neiman began their career as a law clerk to Justice Anthony M. Kennedy of the Supreme Court of the United States and Judge Paul V. Niemeyer of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
