Wes Manship

Director of Capture at Mayvin

Wes Manship claims to be “Just a Capture Guy” that provides oversight and strategic and tactical processes to target and win opportunities aligning with Mayvin’s goal to provide attainable and effective solutions for the clients. In reality, he is THE Capture Guy, managing a wide variety of efforts ranging from Logistics and Training to Engineering and Science for DoD, DHS, and other civilian markets.

Wes is a retired USAF Logistics Readiness Officer with a diverse background. He supported Operation Iraqi Freedom as an Air Movement Coordinator and logistician and Enduring Freedom with an assignment to JTF 170 in Guantanamo, Cuba as Deputy J4. Prior to joining Mayvin, Wes was a mathematics instructor at University of Alabama. He has supported various agencies with multiple solutions across DoD, DHS, and three letter organizations for over 30 years.

Wes has two master’s degrees: one in Logistics Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology and another in Military Operations from Air University, as well as his bachelor’s in Mathematics and Optics from the University of Alabama. He also holds certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Logistics Planner, Fuels Manager, Material Management Specialist, and Electronics Technician. (Editor’s Note: he clearly likes school).
