Marc Rufé, PhD, is an experienced economist with a diverse academic and professional background. From June 2018 to June 2020, Marc worked as an economist at Cambra de Barcelona. Currently, Marc is an associate professor at Universitat de Barcelona and a part-time lecturer at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and Universitat Pompeu Fabra, teaching courses in international economics, macroeconomics, and development economics. In addition, Marc has served as a visiting researcher at the University of Cape Town and is currently a researcher for the Regional Academy on the United Nations, focusing on crisis management and resilience. Prior to these roles, Marc worked at PwC from September 2020 to July 2022, contributing to macroeconomic studies and econometric analyses, and is currently a senior manager in ESG advisory services at Forvis Mazars in Spain, specializing in risk modeling and credit analysis.
