MAZE PICTURES, co-founded by Philipp Kreuzer in 2015, is an independent production house based in Munich and Berlin, with holdings in subsidiary company SUPERNIX and its sister company RED BALLOON. The company has developed a strong international network and a track record in genre-spanning film and television production. Recent projects include Cannes alumni RUMOURS (2024, starring Cate Blanchett and Alicia Vikander) and THE LAST ONE FOR THE ROAD (2025, directed by Francesco Sossai) as well as the Bavarian TV-Show HIMMEL, HERRGOTT, SAKRAMENT - Season 1 & 2 (directed by Franz Xaver Bogner). Through Maze's subsidiary SUPERNIX and our strong ties to PENZING STUDIOS we have been involved in several high-profile projects, such as NINE PERFECT STRANGERS – Season 2 (2025, starring Nicole Kidman), CLIFFHANGER (2026, starring Pierce Brosnan), RETURN TO SILENT HILL (2026, directed by Christophe Gans), THE UPRISING (2026, starring Andrew Garfield), and many more.
