Mazingira Limited is a firm of environmental and resource management experts registered and incorporated in Kenya to carry out consultancy work in environmental, social and other development issues. The company was incorporated by the Registrar of Companies on 20th May 2008 and has been in operation since then. The company is also registered as Firm of Experts on Environmental Impact Assessment and Audit (EIA/EA). The registration by the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) was done on 29th June 2009 and the Firm has been practicing as Firm of Experts in EIA/ EA hitherto.  Mazingira Limited is primarily involved in consultancy services in environmental and social management; project planning and management; baseline and feasibility studies; environmental impact assessment and audit; strategic environmental assessment; health and safety audits; energy audits; environmental measurements (air quality, noise and electromagnetic frequency); training and capacity building; land acquisition, valuation and resettlement planning; waste management; monitoring and evaluation; and construction supervision (ESHS implementation). Since incorporation, the company has carried out assignments and rendered services in various sectors including transport, telecommunications, water and sanitation, housing, hospitality, oil and gas, and energy sectors.
