John Wood, CHFM, SASHE, CHC, is a Senior Facility Operations Consultant at Mazzetti, specializing in optimizing healthcare facilities through tailored solutions. They previously directed facilities services at Kaiser Permanente Northwest Region, managing over 50 buildings and 300 employees. John has also held substantial roles, including Administrative Director of Facilities at Mercy Medical Center and Healthcare Project Director at Heery International, where they provided management in design and project execution for the healthcare industry. As a faculty member for the American Society for Healthcare Engineering, John teaches contractors and facilities managers about the intricacies of construction within healthcare environments. They earned a degree in Organizational Leadership from the ASHE Leadership Institute and are currently pursuing a degree in Project Management at Portland State University.
