Chris Grant

Chris Grant is an experienced Senior Principal Engineer at MBDA, with tenure beginning in September 2013 and progression from roles including Mechanical Engineer and Principal Mechanical Engineer to overseeing the mechanical design team and managing work package delivery across multiple programs. Responsibilities encompass people and budget management, alongside structural integrity clearance activities for product integration on new platforms, requiring the setting of structural requirements and defining proving activities. Prior roles included Graduate Stress Engineer and Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, focusing on structural activities and safety-critical design features, and contributions to the Defence Growth Partnerships as a DGP Strategy Team Secondee. Chris Grant holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Surrey, completed in 2013, and has early experience as a Teaching Assistant at Whitgift School.
