Chris Murphy

Chris Murphy has extensive experience in the defense sector, currently serving as the Meteor Support Manager at MBDA since January 2017, focusing on in-service support for the Meteor missile system. Prior to this role, Chris worked at the UK Ministry of Defence from September 2015 to January 2017 in threat systems modeling and analysis, and previously served as an Engineering Officer in the RAF from 1987 to January 2017. Chris has also held roles within the Defence Ordnance Safety Group, acting as a safety adviser for UK air-to-air weapon systems and contributing to the F35 project. Educational achievements include multiple Master of Science degrees from Cranfield University, specializing in Defence Simulation and Modelling, Guided Weapon Systems, and Explosive Ordnance Engineering, alongside studies in Management and IT from Sheffield Hallam University and a HND in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Leeds Beckett University.
