Éric Manzanera is a civil engineer with a PhD in Discrete Mathematics and serves as the Head of VSHORAD Systems Programmes at MBDA. Their extensive experience includes roles as an engineer at Aerospatiale, where they worked on system design and guidance, and as a researcher at the Fondation Scientifique de Lyon et du Sud-est, focusing on the Cutting Stock Problem. Éric also held positions in academia, including a lecturer role at École des Mines and as a mathematics teacher at Éducation Nationale.
