John Hamilton

John Hamilton is a seasoned professional in security management and business change, currently serving as the Head of Business Change and Value Realisation at MBDA since July 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of SAP4HANA to enhance business processes and efficiency. Prior experience includes significant roles in the UK Ministry of Defence as a Principal Cyber Security Consultant and Auditor, where assessments and audits were conducted, and as Assistant Head of Information Loss Investigations focused on managing information security breaches. John has also held leadership positions within the Royal Air Force, including Chief of Staff for Force Protection, managing security for military operations, and Officer Commanding for policing in Northern regions. Educationally, John holds an MSc in Security Management from the University of Portsmouth and various certifications, including ISO 27001 Certified Lead Auditor and Certified Information Security Manager.
