Matt Kitchen currently serves as a Senior Principal Engineer at MBDA, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this, Kitchen was the Head of Chassis Systems at Arrival from April 2022 to December 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing the development of electric vehicle delivery platforms and leading engineering teams in both the US and UK. Kitchen spent nearly eighteen years at Nissan Technical Centre Europe, progressing from an Engineer in Chassis, with expertise in suspension, dynamic performance, and steering design, to a Senior Engineer managing the Brakes Development Team, and ultimately to a managerial role overseeing multiple chassis sub-teams. Kitchen holds an MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, earned between 1999 and 2003.
