Robin Jones

Robin Jones is a Principal Engineer at MBDA, specializing in Electro-Optics and Computational Imaging since May 2023. Previously, Robin served as a PhD Researcher at the University of Bath, focusing on Advanced Raman spectroscopy and nanocharacterisation techniques from October 2019 to May 2023. Earlier experience includes roles as an Engineering Analyst at AWE and a Research Associate at the University of Bath, concentrating on turbomachinery research aimed at improving turbine efficiency. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the University of Bath and a Doctor of Philosophy in Aeronautical Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, Robin holds an MSci Degree in Physics from the University of Birmingham. Robin's early experience includes a summer research position at the University of Birmingham and military service as a Rifleman in the British Army.
