Russell Cross

Russell Cross has a diverse range of work experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Russell has worked in various roles, including as an Integration Verification Lead at MBDA, where they were responsible for reviewing system requirements and creating verification plans for the SPEAR3 missile and launcher. Russell also worked as an Electrical System Engineer at Lilium, where they used Agile work practices to plan and track progress for the Lilium electric aircraft. Additionally, Russell has experience as a System Engineer at Leonardo, Safran, Lockheed Martin, and Thales, where they performed tasks such as EMC testing, requirements proving, and reviewing supplier evidence. Russell has also worked as a Validation Engineer at UTC Composite Centre of Excellence and as a Project Engineer at Aero Engine Controls. Russell's work experience demonstrates their expertise in system engineering, testing, and verification in the aerospace and defense industry.

Russell Cross obtained an MSC degree in Material Science/Engineering with a minor in Electronics from The University of Waikato, where they studied from 1993 to 1999. Russell also obtained a Level 3 Award in the requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671: June 2008(2015) from City and Guilds in 2015.
