Shaun Viola

Shaun Viola is a System Engineer at MBDA, having previously held similar positions at QuEST Global and Leonardo. With a background in electronic and electrical engineering, Shaun completed a PhD focused on optical communications systems at the University of Glasgow, where they also worked as a research assistant. Shaun's expertise includes photonics, atmospheric turbulence, and system integration, complemented by experience in project planning and risk management. They have contributed to significant research publications and have represented Leonardo UK in the field of optical communications at various industry events.
