Steve C.

Steve C. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software engineering and development, currently serving as Group Engineering Special Advisor and General Secretary at MBDA since April 2018. Steve also undertakes a secondment in Anglo-French Technical Strategy and previously held the position of Head Of Test Software in the UK. As a volunteer mentor at Brunel University London, Steve supports aspiring engineers through the Women in Brunel Engineering and Computing (WiBEC) scheme. Formerly, from May 2005 to April 2018, Steve was Head of Software Engineering at QinetiQ, where responsibilities included overseeing a team of 250 engineers and serving as Design Authority for the Training business. Steve’s career also includes significant roles in training and simulation services, software engineering at cueSim, and contributions to flight simulation applications at QinetiQ. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Physics from Lancaster University and a BSc Hons in Mathematical Physics from the University of Liverpool.
