Steve Heaney

Steve Heaney is a Senior Materials Engineer at MBDA, bringing 30 years of experience in highly engineered materials, specifically in the production of biomedical grade magnesium alloys. They have managed production teams and ensured adherence to medical device quality standards, achieving notable recognitions such as the BioNow life science award in 2016. Recently, Steve completed a BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University, where they also contributed as a Student Ambassador and Peer Assisted Learning Leader. Prior roles included various positions at Luxfer MEL Technologies, focusing on quality management and process control within the biomedical sector.
