Tom Hakewill

Tom Hakewill possesses extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, currently serving as the Engineering Sustainability Lead at MBDA since December 2019, where responsibilities also include roles related to supply chain and supplier quality. Prior experience includes a membership on the Management Council at Nadcap and various leadership positions at Safran and BAE Systems, including Supplier Quality Assurance Manager and Strategic Procurement Manager. Tom's career began with an Industrial Trainee position at BG Technology, followed by a Purchasing graduate role at BAE Systems. Educational qualifications include a 2.1 degree in Astrophysics from Cardiff University and additional studies at Lund University.
