Our story 
In 1964, the decade where cars became the main mode of transportation in the middle east, the 
young entrepreneur Amin Malekzadeh set his eyes on the lubricating market. He first started as 
a small trader providing to the local markets, but soon enough with the help of his three sons 
specialized in petroleum, chemical and mechanical engineering established one of the first motor 
oil and recycling plant in the region. The name MB (Malekzadeh Brothers) was established in 1989.
The three brothers grew the family business over the years, with strategically located business 
centers in Asia, Africa and Europe.
MB Lubricants for Automotive and Equipment L.L.C draws on a rich heritage over years that is 
underpinned by vigorous research and development activities. Today MB is one of the leaders in 
formulation, manufacturing, and marketing of petroleum products.
Our History in Sudan
In 1998, MB Lubricants established one of the first petroleum blending site and the first refinery 
plant in Sudan, under the brand name Axxa. Soon after in 2005 the second plant was constructed 
with the name MB Lubricants for Automotive and Equipment L.L.C as a complete separate entity, 
fully owned and run by the third generation of the Malekzadeh Brothers family.
Today MB Lubricants is one of the largest suppliers in Sudan with over 200 dedicated staff, and a 
product line diverse to meet demands of the Sudanese Market
