Kevin Redd

Kevin Redd has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Kevin started their career as an Application Developer at Harbinger Corporation in 1996 and later worked as an Application Developer at The Coca-Cola Company in 1999. Kevin then joined Yodlee as a Senior Software Engineer from 1999 to 2001. Later, they worked as a Technical Project Lead at Moneysupermarket.com for a few months in 2001. From 2002 to 2004, Kevin worked as a Software Engineer at Vocalocity, followed by a role as a Senior Database Developer at FleetCor from 2004 to 2008.

In 2008, Kevin held the position of Data Architect at Cox Communications for a few months before moving on to IntercontinentalExchange, Inc., where they served as a Lead Oracle Developer/DBA from 2008 to 2015. During their time at IntercontinentalExchange, Inc., they played a significant role in developing and enhancing the Oracle 11g OLTP Trading platform.

In 2015, Kevin joined General Motors where they had two roles. First, they worked as a Data Architect for the Global Sales, Marketing, & Communication organization, overseeing all data-related initiatives for the Dealer Data Share team. Kevin also designed and deployed the Oracle 19c database for the Dealer Digital Command Center application. Later, they became a BI/Data Analytics Architect responsible for developing data vision and implementation for a team dedicated to evaluating dealer performance metrics. Kevin successfully insourced applications, resulting in a cost savings of $3 million per year. Kevin also led the department's first development effort using Microsoft Azure.

Kevin's most recent work experience is as a Principal, IT Data Architect at Mercedes-Benz USA starting from 2023.

Kevin Redd earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from The University of Georgia in the years 1993 to 1996. Kevin later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Management Information Systems at Southern Polytechnic State University from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their educational qualifications, Kevin has acquired certifications including Academy Accreditation - Generative AI Fundamentals and Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals from Databricks, as well as the Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate certification from Oracle.
