Peter Kimmich

Peter Kimmich, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Compliance and Data Protection Coordinator for Marketing & Sales at Mercedes-Benz USA, a position held since September 2015. Kimmich has extensive experience in compliance and risk management, having also held roles such as Head of Compliance for Mercedes-Benz North America and overseeing compliance programs across all Mercedes-Benz entities in North America. Previous positions include leading the Internal Audit function at ENGIE Impact, serving as Enterprise Risk Officer and Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management at ENGIE Energy International, and Senior Risk Officer at ENGIE Electrabel. Kimmich began a career in governance risk and compliance at PricewaterhouseCoopers following a consultancy role at Accenture, and started with research related to business alternatives for Siemens Nuclear Power as a Master's thesis student. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Economics from the University of St.Gallen and a Diplom Wirtschaftsingeneur from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
