Shad Barr is a professional with extensive experience in technical curriculum design and automotive education. Currently serving as the Manager of Technical Curriculum Design at Mercedes-Benz USA since November 2018, Shad oversees the creation of blended learning journeys for over 10,000 dealership personnel, ensuring curriculum alignment with current and future needs. Previous roles include Senior Technical Curriculum Developer at Mercedes-Benz USA, Program Chair and Automotive Instructor at West Georgia Technical College, Lead Diesel Instructor at Advance Technology Institute, Shop Foreman at Ride-Away Handicap Equipment Corporation, and various positions in the United States Marine Forces Reserve and United States Naval Special Warfare Command. Shad holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Excelsior University and an Associate's degree in Business Management from Tidewater Community College, complemented by technical training in heavy equipment mechanics and automotive technology.
