Merri Sanchez

Merri Sanchez serves as a Board Member for the Texas A&M University Department of Aerospace Engineering and is an Advisory Board Member for the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, contributing to strategic planning and industry engagement. Currently a Technical Fellow at The Aerospace Corporation since 2017, Merri also holds independent corporate director positions at McEwen Mining Inc. and serves on the Board of Directors for the Dee Howard International Education Foundation, promoting STEAM education initiatives. Past roles include Chief Science and Technical Advisor for the United States Air Force Space Command and Senior Director at Sierra Nevada Corporation. Merri's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and multiple advanced degrees from the University of Houston, alongside a management certificate from Smith College.
