Mitchell Smith

Mitchell Smith is an accomplished Geographic Information Systems professional with a diverse background in geospatial data management, cartography, and data visualization. Currently serving as the Geographic Information Systems Coordinator at McAdams since January 2025, Mitchell previously held the role of Senior Geographic Information Systems Specialist at RAIC Labs, where contributions included expertise in geospatial data projects during significant funding rounds. Prior experience includes roles as GIS Technician II at UDC Inc., where Mitchell specialized in large-scale utility projects, and as GIS Specialist at the Fiscal & Economic Research Center, managing client relations and producing cartographic designs. Mitchell began the career as a LIDAR Data Processor at Roadview, enhancing skills in data processing for state transportation projects. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Geography & Cartography from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Mitchell demonstrates a solid foundation in geospatial technologies and applications.
