Lisa Torkos

Lisa Torkos has a strong work experience in the field of IT and data management. Lisa started their career as a Software Developer/Technical Consultant at M.R.S. Company Ltd./WorthIT Software in 1999. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a Technology Specialist at Deloitte Canada. In 2004, they joined MCAP as an IT Technical Manager/Associate Director and worked there until 2009, progressing to the role of Lead Software Designer/Developer. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Application Architect at MCAP before becoming the Director of Application Architecture. In 2020, they were promoted to Senior Director, Architecture & Innovation, IT at MCAP, and currently holds the position of VP, Data Management.

Lisa Torkos has a degree in Computer Programming and Internet Application Design from the Institute for Computer Studies. Lisa also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto. Lisa has obtained certifications such as the CIO Certified Blockchain Professional (CCBP) from the CIO Association of Canada and the ITIL Foundation certification from PeopleCert. Lisa also has certifications in MCDBA and MCSD, although the institutions from which they obtained these certifications were not specified.
