Manu Sud

Manu Sud has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Most recently, they have been working as a Senior Director of Operations and Compliance at MCAP since 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Manager of Business Analytics at Fasken from 2019 to 2022.

Before entering the private sector, Manu worked for the Ontario Government as a Manager of Analytics and Finance from 2015 to 2019. In this role, they led a project to design artificial intelligence tools, participated in a strategy to divest a multibillion-dollar government entity, and evaluated cloud solutions for compliance targets.

Manu also gained valuable experience at TD Bank Group, where they served as a Manager from 2008 to 2015. In this position, they provided strategic advice to executives, reviewed international financial statements, and guided process re-design efforts to improve efficiency.

Earlier in their career, Manu held various engineering and leadership positions in different organizations from 2002 to 2007.

Overall, Manu Sud has a strong background in operations, compliance, analytics, finance, and strategic planning, making him a valuable asset in a leadership role.

Manu Sud holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto. Manu also obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree from the same university. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. Manu further enhanced their education by gaining a Graduate Diploma in Justice System Administration from York University. Manu then attended the York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, where they completed a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Administrative Law. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications, including being a member of Ten Thousand Coffees and completing the NFP Governance Essentials Program offered by the Institute of Corporate Directors.
