Robert Balfour has extensive experience in finance and construction, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors for Whissell Contracting Ltd. since February 2015, and as the Managing Partner of the MCAP Development Finance Group since December 2011, where responsibilities include the planning and direction of the Group's activities related to commercial and residential construction loans. Additionally, since May 2023, Robert serves as an Independent Strategic Advisory Board member at KV Capital. Previously, Robert held the position of Managing Director for the Central-West Branch of MCAP Financial Corporation from May 1995 to November 2011, overseeing a team focused on development construction financing across various sectors. Robert earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance from the University of Calgary between 1973 and 1976.
