Yong Lu

Yong (Leal) Lu has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Yong (Leal) began their career in 2000 at Lucent Technologies as a Senior Technical Staff. During their time there, they led teams in developing telecom products and managed projects and deployments for global telecom carriers. In 2007, Yong joined a private-owned Equity Investment Fund as an Investment Manager. Yong (Leal) worked in this role until 2010. Following that, from 2010 to 2015, they worked at Cisco as a Senior Financial Analyst and later as a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. Yong then joined MCAP in 2016, initially as a Director in the Middle Office Capital Market and later being promoted to the position of Senior Director in 2019.

Yong (Leal) Lu has an MBA in Finance from the Schulich School of Business - York University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Southeast University from 1997 to 2000. Yong (Leal) also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Southeast University, which they completed from 1993 to 1997. In addition, they have obtained the CFA certification in 2013.
